If the public data was not there, you do not eat the cost.
If a delivered report could not meaningfully analyze the majority of the courses or instructors involved because sufficient public information did not exist — as reflected in the report's own data-quality and coverage indicators — you may request a review within 7 days of delivery. We will review the report against its sources and, at our discretion, re-run it or refund all or part of what you paid. This covers an objective lack of available public data only; it does not cover dissatisfaction with conclusions that are inherently goal-relative, and it does not guarantee any academic or admissions outcome. If our pipeline fails irrecoverably and we cannot deliver a report at all, we refund you in full. See the Terms of Service for the full text.

What's the difference between Full Plan and Course Check?
Full Plan derives your entire remaining course list from your transcript and goals and sequences it into a term-by-term plan — you don't name courses. Course Check vets the specific courses you already have in mind. Same engine, same goal-relative, source-linked findings.
Is this academic advising?
No. A Profspect report is informational analysis from public sources, organized relative to your goals. It is one input among many and not a substitute for an academic counselor. Verify all course and articulation details with your college before registering.
Do you tell me which professors to avoid?
No. Profspect is goal-relative. We characterize how courses and sections run — grading approach, workload, assessment structure, format, available resources, responsiveness — and score how that fits your stated goals. We never rate, rank, or judge people, and every finding is tied to a public source.
What do you do with my transcript?
Full Plan needs it; for Course Check it's optional. Either way we use it only to produce your report, and we delete it (along with your personal intake details) within 7 days of delivery. We keep only a minimal order record for accounting and support. See the Privacy Policy.
Will the report guarantee a better GPA or admission?
No. The report is provided "as is." The underlying public data is third-party and may be incomplete or out of date, and teaching assignments and course offerings change frequently. No academic, admissions, or other outcome is guaranteed.
